The Team

Rebecca Woolmington

Founder

Rebecca Woolmington launched HRCentral in 2006. Prior to starting HRCentral, Rebecca spent many years rapidly progressing and developing in the HR world.

A highly qualified and accomplished HR Consultant with over 30 years’ experience in both strategic and day-to-day HR roles, Rebecca now leads a team of HR Associates in support of HRCentral’s clients.

Rebecca is hands-on with all HRCentral’s clients, investing considerable time and effort into ensuring they receive the very best service. Offering pragmatic, clear HR advice, Rebecca ensures HR processes are both right for the business and also legally compliant.

This focus on expert advice and outstanding customer support has earnt HRCentral the reputation of trusted provider of HR generalist advice.

On a personal level, Rebecca lives in Oxfordshire with her family and her gorgeous Whippets, named Blue and Enzo who were recently promoted to ‘Head of Barketing and Head of Wellbeing’, ensuring that Rebecca (or one of her team) exercise daily.

Beth Tanner

HR Consultant

Beth joined HRCentral in 2022, having actively pursued Rebecca for a role in the business.

Calm and patient, Beth is both highly experienced and highly qualified in all aspects of HR from resourcing to compliance to her favourite discipline; Employee Relations.

She started her career in the public sector, working for the local council in a variety of roles, allowing her to spend time honing her skills in each discipline.

Maintaining her industry qualifications, in her first trainee resourcing and recruitment role she completed a CIPD Level 5 qualification and subsequently studied for a Master’s Degree, while also working full time, which enabled her to progress into a more senior management role. 

Away from work, Beth has a passion for travel, and if it wasn’t for her love of HR she would happily be a representative of the tourist board in any number of countries.

She also loves dog walks exploring the beautiful local countryside.

Ilona Thornhill

HR & Recruitment Advisor

Ily joined the team after starting her HR career in the food manufacturing sector, where she had a varied role as part of a busy in-house HR team.

She was able to turn new daily challenges into learning opportunities and has continued this ethos as she completes her CIPD Level 3 qualification, to support her development in her role.

She has gained good all-round knowledge of all aspects of HR and is committed to helping clients improve productivity through enhanced employee experience and engagement.

A former career in sales and customer service has shaped her customer focus and hands on approach.

A keen photographer, away from work, Ily also loves live music and travel, often spending weekends in some of Europe’s most beautiful destinations.
